The Hall is a welcoming community gathering place in a refurbished railcar building at the center of the Foundry in the Historic Valley Junction neighborhood. Designed for conversation and connection, it brings friends, neighbors, and visitors together around shared meals, drinks, music, games, and events. Its food is prepared by The Kitchen DSM, owned by The Justice League of Food (JLF), and served through four daily menus featuring German fare, burgers, pub food, and pizza. Food sales support JLF’s culinary job training program for disadvantaged community members, making dining at The Hall part of its Cuisine for a Cause mission. The drinks selection includes 54 taps offering local craft beer, national brews, red wine, and sparkling white wine, alongside signature cocktails and nitro coffee. The Hall also hosts community activities such as weekly live trivia and bingo. With an emphasis on friendliness, neighborhood involvement, and giving back, it welcomes people to pull up a chair, enjoy good food and drinks, and start a conversation.
