The Happy Few is not just a regular crèche, but a second family where personalized care and support are prioritized. We have created a unique environment that accommodates only six babies and a maximum of nine older children (2-4 years old). Each group is led by two dedicated full-time educators, supported by a socio-educational/governess assistant. This small scale allows us to tailor our approach to every child, from the activities we offer to the nap routines we follow. We strongly believe that parents should actively participate in their child's life at the crèche. Therefore, we ensure clear, fast, and transparent communication with each parent, keeping them engaged and well-informed. Additionally, our parents have formed their own group, organizing activities for their little ones in the community. At The Happy Few, we strive to protect children and provide them with the best from an early age. We carefully select quality products, including organic food, non-plastic toys, and eco-friendly toiletries, among others. Our emphasis on nature and respect for our surroundings is evident in the time we spend outdoors, whether in our secure garden or nearby parks. We value and foster autonomy in each child, respecting their individual pace and needs. From free movement for babies to self-feeding and self-care for older children, we adapt to their developmental stage and encourage independence. Multilingualism is also integral to our approach. We prioritize the child's first language, offering stability and security, while daily practice of French, Luxembourgish, and German promotes integration. We introduce English through songs and games, and our team uses sign language to enhance cognitive skills and sensory development without hindering speech acquisition. The Happy Few was born out of the passion of a mother who couldn't find a crèche that met her standards for her child. Together with her cousin, who holds a degree in Education, they created this haven of love and respect. Our team, with years of experience, is diverse, united by a common theme: Love.
