## Description

The Helping Tree is a registered Australian NDIS provider offering person-centred support to people with disability and their families. Founded by people with both professional expertise and lived experience of disability, aged care, mental health and complex health needs, the organisation aims to make navigating the NDIS simpler, clearer and more supportive. Its approach is grounded in compassion, honesty, respect, cultural inclusion and a commitment to choice and control. The team works with each participant to tailor services to their goals, preferences and lifestyle, and encourages open feedback and communication.

Services include support coordination to understand NDIS plans and connect with providers; assistance with personal care and daily routines; travel support, transport and public transport training; and community participation through social, recreational and cultural activities. The Helping Tree also provides respite through short-term accommodation, Specialist Disability Accommodation for people requiring accessible housing, and Supported Independent Living support in shared homes. Across its services, the organisation focuses on promoting independence, wellbeing, meaningful community connections and confidence.
