## Description

Riverside Homestead Waitangi is a small luxury accommodation lodge in New Zealand’s Bay of Islands, set on five acres beside the historic Waitangi River and about seven minutes’ drive from Paihia. Hosted by Rev Chris Swannell and food and wine writer Michael Hooper, the property offers a peaceful, welcoming retreat with a focus on privacy, comfort, and attentive hospitality.

Guest accommodation includes two private suites with balconies overlooking the grounds and river valley, as well as a Palm View superior room with a separate river-view patio, subject to availability. Room features may include an ensuite bathroom, tea and Nespresso facilities, a microwave, robes, and a super-king bed. Guests can relax in the Horizon Lounge, enjoy fireside suppers and platters, or sample reserve wines by the glass. Some rates include a bakehouse breakfast delivered contactlessly to a private balcony table.

The property also offers guest transfers, and visitors can explore its olive grove and seasonal river walk. Contactless check-in and sanitised rooms support guest wellbeing.
