The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County

The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County is a trusted brand dedicated to promoting animal welfare and providing compassionate care for animals in need. With over 135 years of experience, we are committed to finding loving homes for dogs, cats, and other critters through our adoption program. Our low-cost microchip event is coming up on July 31st, where we will be offering $15 microchips for pets.

This event is open to low-income community members on a first-come, first-served basis, and no appointment is necessary. Additionally, we offer a range of services and resources, including animal control, humane education, end-of-life services, pet behavior tips, and more. We also have volunteer and foster programs for those looking to get involved and make a difference.
