## Description

Capital City Card Con, organized by Capital City Conventions, is a three-day trading card convention in Des Moines, Iowa, bringing together collectors, dealers, fans, and newcomers. Described as Iowa’s largest card convention, the event offers a welcoming place for people of all ages and experience levels to explore the hobby, make connections, and enjoy collecting together.

The Fall 2026 convention takes place September 25–27 at the Iowa Events Center. More than 220 dealer tables feature trading cards, sports cards, trading card games, memorabilia, vintage collectibles, and other hard-to-find items. Attendees can browse in person, buy and trade cards, inspect condition, seek out rare finds, and meet fellow collectors. The event also features autograph guests and on-site authentication services, with announcements shared as they become available.

Visitors can choose from general admission, weekend passes, VIP packages, and autograph tickets. Dealers may register for tables to present their inventory and connect with buyers.
