The National Court Reporters Association (NCRA) is a leading professional organization dedicated to supporting the careers of court reporters, captioners, and legal videographers. With a commitment to excellence, NCRA members engage in a variety of impactful activities, including transcribing courtroom proceedings, delivering live captions for public events, and preserving vital oral histories. The association offers an array of resources, such as certification programs, scholarships, continuing education, and advocacy tools to empower its members.

NCRA is also deeply involved in promoting accessibility, as demonstrated by members like Lois Boyle, who founded Access Virginia to provide live captions for theatergoers with hearing impairments.
