## Description

The Keiki Dept is a Native Hawaiian- and māmā-owned children’s clothing and accessories brand founded in 2016. Created by founder Leilani to offer keiki clothing that feels connected to home, the brand makes small-batch products inspired by Hawaiʻi’s native plants, animals, and places. Its prints are designed to share stories and help families introduce children to Hawaiian culture.

The collection includes bamboo muslin Kapa Moe swaddles, infant and toddler apparel, children’s clothing, outdoor pieces such as shorts and UPF 50 sun hoodies, bags, and family gifts. Customers can also build mix-and-match gift or clothing sets. The Keiki Dept offers educational memory games, including designs centered on Hawaiian places, and monthly photo circles.

Giving back is part of the brand’s work: 1% of online orders supports Ulu Aʻe’s culture- and place-based learning for keiki and families in Honouliuli. The company also reports supporting ʻAha Pūnana Leo and Hawaiʻi diaper banks, and donating more than 150 games to schools.
