## Description

Stealthmate is a chess-inspired strategy game that turns familiar piece movements into tools for stealth, planning, and competition. In its puzzle campaign, players guide pieces across compact boards, avoid patrolling enemies, assess current and projected danger, and reach green exits without being captured. Each move prompts an enemy response, so routes and safe squares can change quickly. The campaign can be played solo or in local co-op, with tactical heists and a Kingfall mode against the CPU. For a different challenge, Stealthmate offers real-time chess against bots or other players, either locally or online. Matches feature different maps and configurable rules. Players can use a mouse, touch controls, or a keyboard, and the browser demo supports portrait play, with progress saved in the browser. A full adventure is available on Steam. Combining short, replayable puzzles with competitive play, Stealthmate offers a distinctive way to apply chess thinking to both careful escapes and head-to-head matches.
