## Description

The Leon Heart Fund is a registered charity founded in 2009 to support children and their families attending cardiac wards at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff and the Special Care Baby Unit at Singleton Hospital in Swansea. Inspired by Leon’s story, the fund raises awareness of the experiences of children and families facing serious heart conditions and premature birth.

The organisation shares personal stories, news and blog posts to help visitors learn about the people and experiences connected with its work. Featured stories include Leon’s and Megan’s, whose family describes her premature birth and lifesaving heart surgery. The fund also welcomes patrons who help raise its profile, including rugby international Duncan Jones and writers Natalie Ann Holborow and Dan Baker.

Visitors can find information about the charity and its activities through the website’s About, Stories, News and Blog sections. The site also highlights plans for online donations through JustGiving, although its donation page is described as coming soon.
