ReWired is a brand dedicated to supporting gay and bisexual men who are looking to change their relationship with methamphetamine, specifically those who use it during sex. This eight-week peer support program aims to provide a safe space for individuals to address and overcome their meth use habits. By offering a community of peers who share similar experiences, ReWired fosters understanding, support, and connection. The program covers a wide range of topics, including the effects of meth, intimacy, sexual health, and strategies for harm reduction and overall well-being. Led by the NZ Drug Foundation in partnership with the Burnett Foundation, Body Positive, and Odyssey, ReWired emphasizes the importance of peer support in facilitating change. Through the program, individuals can identify their triggers, gain a better understanding of their relationship with the drug, and develop strategies to maintain a healthier lifestyle.
