# The Living Room - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `thelivingroomsf.org` ## Description The Living Room SF is a literary arts initiative that creates community experiences and publications while building partnerships to support Bay Area writers facing unstable incomes, with a primary focus on BIPOC writers. Its work brings writers and audiences together through themed poetry readings, cultural gatherings, workshops, and other literary programming. Past events have celebrated Black History Month and Juneteenth, and explored themes including travel and cruelty. Featured writers and performers have included poets, authors, and musicians from the Bay Area and beyond. The organization also offers writing workshops and develops partnerships intended to create economic opportunities for writers and strengthen literary community. Its programming has taken place at venues such as the Kimpton Alton Hotel in San Francisco, and it is a member of Intersection for the Arts, a historic arts nonprofit that provides fiscal sponsorship and resources to people working in arts and culture. Through events, publications, and collaboration, The Living Room SF connects creative voices with audiences and supports a more sustainable environment for writers. ## Industries - 🍿 Arts and Entertainment - 🍿 Books and Literature _(under Arts and Entertainment)_ ## Links - [youtube](https://youtube.com/channel/UCxOJT0OGZRbTvr9o56PL2iQ) - [twitter](https://twitter.com/livingroom_sf) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/livingroom_sf) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idicRrDQsy/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791348936067) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Cardinal Pink | #96034c | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Gallery | #eeeeee | light | ## Imagery - banner _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idicRrDQsy/w/1500/h/500/id-3hu_1bj.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791348935900) --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
