# The Martial Arts Method - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `themartialartsmethod.co.uk` ## Description The Martial Arts Method (TMAM) is a martial arts school in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, offering practical, beginner-friendly classes for children, teenagers and adults. Its age-specific programmes serve students from age three, with sessions designed to suit their development and experience rather than applying a single approach to everyone. Classes combine martial arts skills and purposeful fitness training with an emphasis on confidence, focus, discipline, resilience and consideration for others. The school teaches that self-defence is a last resort, prioritising awareness, avoiding danger and keeping control. Led by owner and instructor Tom Beal, a third-degree Shorai International black belt, alongside Mr Lukic, TMAM provides structured, supportive coaching. The school is BMABA governed, DBS checked, safeguarding trained and fully insured. Classes take place at Royds Mill, with parents welcome to watch. New students can try two coached classes free, with no uniform or obligation to join. The first month costs £95, including uniform and gloves; ongoing training is £75 per month for two coached classes each week, with family discounts available. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Martial Arts _(under Sports)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id_0ITlAcD/w/360/h/360/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791710858522) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Flamingo | #f26419 | accent | | Pueblo | #8f2b14 | dark | | Atomic Tangerine | #ff9a61 | light | ## Fonts - Inter — asset _(google)_ - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
