The brand's mission is to help physicians access expert knowledge in order to improve patient outcomes. TheMednet was founded by Nadine Housri, M. D., and Samir Housri, who were motivated by their personal experience with their father's cancer diagnosis.

They realized the value of connecting with expert physicians who could provide knowledge and insights based on their first-hand experiences and research. This led to the creation of theMednet, initially as a platform for oncologists, and later expanding to include seven additional specialties. Today, theMednet community consists of over 20,000 physicians, including 1,200 experts from top academic institutions.
