## Description

The Miles Together is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting people navigating a rare cancer diagnosis and the challenges of unequal access to care. Its mission is to remove obstacles so patients and families can face the journey with greater support. The organization highlights the particular difficulties faced by younger people with rare cancers, including those raising young children. These challenges may include limited awareness, screening guidelines that do not cover some younger age groups, lower rates of early detection, and the need to travel farther to reach appropriate care. Such travel can add significantly to the financial burden on families.

The Miles Together offers ways for people affected by rare cancer to seek help and for others to stand alongside them. Visitors can donate, contact the organization to discuss getting involved, or send a message of support. Through community participation and its focus on the needs of patients and families, The Miles Together aims to make a difficult path more manageable and ensure people facing rare cancer do not have to navigate it alone.
