## Description

The Nest is a natural learning center and preschool in Surf City, North Carolina, offering nurturing, nature-oriented early education for children ages 2 to 5, including Transitional Kindergarten. Its goal is to provide a safe, stimulating environment where children can explore, build confidence, and develop through curiosity, creativity, and play.

Programs include classes for two-year-olds, preschoolers, pre-K students, and older children preparing for kindergarten. Families can choose two-, three-, or five-day schedules, with morning or afternoon sessions of three hours and 50 minutes. Class activities build foundational social-emotional, motor, science, math, and early language skills, while older students explore inquiry-based learning, art, reading, and social relationships. The Transitional Kindergarten program offers a bridge between pre-K and kindergarten, drawing on North Carolina curriculum guides and allowing students to progress at their own pace.

The Nest also invites families to tour the facility, join a waitlist, and contact the center for tuition rates; military discounts are available. The center welcomes local businesses interested in sponsoring its scholarship program.
