## Description

The New Art Gallery Walsall is a dynamic and engaging brand that presents, collects, and interprets historic, modern, and contemporary art in innovative ways. As a global destination, we welcome visitors from all over the world as well as our local community. Our mission is to increase the understanding and enjoyment of arts and culture through our dynamic exhibition, education, and events program. Our changing exhibition programs on Floors 3 and 4 focus on contemporary visual arts, showcasing both solo and group shows that reflect the diversity of current artistic practices. We support the development of living artists and aim to engage and challenge our visitors. On Floors 1 and 2, you will find the Collections Galleries, which house our extensive art collections. The Galleries were specially designed to display The Garman Ryan Collection, gifted to the people of Walsall by Lady Kathleen Garman and Sally Ryan. This collection includes European and non-European works, featuring renowned artists such as Picasso, Braque, Gericault, and Delacroix. In addition to our galleries, we offer various amenities such as the Roof Terrace, Art Library, and Costa Coffee. We also provide development support and opportunities to artists through our Artists' Studio and host a range of activities and events for schools, colleges, universities, families, and community groups. Visit The New Art Gallery Walsall to experience the vibrant world of art and culture.
