## Description

The Nursery is an early-years childcare provider operating two nursery and daycare settings in Northumberland: The Nursery at Whitehouse Farm in Morpeth and The Nursery at Killingworth Way in Killingworth. Its approach combines care and learning in a warm, home-from-home environment, supporting children’s emotional, creative and academic development through engaging activities and individual learning plans.

At Whitehouse Farm, children can explore the working farm, meet animals, feed goats and lambs, enjoy tractor rides and play in the surrounding parks. The Killingworth setting offers children aged three and above the opportunity to take swimming lessons with neighbouring provider Paddlepod. Both nurseries accept eligible 15- and 30-hour government childcare funding and childcare vouchers, and can help families set up a Tax-Free Childcare account.

The nurseries highlight qualified, experienced staff, with all team members holding paediatric first aid qualifications and food hygiene and allergy awareness training. Meals are freshly prepared onsite, and the service maintains a five-star food hygiene rating. Whitehouse Farm was rated Outstanding by Ofsted in May 2025.
