## Description

Ulysses is a maritime technology company developing autonomous vehicles and integrated hardware and software to support safer, healthier, and more resilient oceans. Its systems are designed for scalable operations across surface and subsea environments, serving needs such as ecological restoration, subsea surveillance, and protection and repair of critical maritime infrastructure.

The company’s approach combines modular vehicle design with autonomous launch, recovery, and recharging through its Kraken system, enabling missions to run remotely without human intervention or oversight. Swappable modules and payloads adapt vehicles to different subsea tasks, while vehicle-to-vehicle communication supports coordinated operations. Ulysses also highlights onboard computing and robotic payload capabilities for work such as infrastructure repair and planting.

Its vehicle family includes Mako, an autonomous underwater vehicle designed for long-duration missions. Published specifications list up to 72 hours of endurance, a maximum payload of 200 pounds, and a depth rating of 5,000 feet. Ulysses presents its technology as a way to replace fragmented legacy tools with persistent maritime capability, helping organizations steward ocean ecosystems and secure important infrastructure.
