# The Old Corkscrew - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `theoldcorkscrew.co.za` ## Description The Old Corkscrew is an international fine-antique dealer and gallery located in Franschhoek, in South Africa’s Western Cape winelands. It welcomes local and international collectors, as well as visitors exploring the area, with a broad and continually changing collection of antiques and distinctive objects. The gallery is home to what it describes as Africa’s largest collection of antique corkscrews, including rare early examples and pieces from Bertrand Giulian’s personal collection. Alongside corkscrews, The Old Corkscrew offers antique and collectible silver, gold jewellery, porcelain, glass, clocks, copper and brass, Africana, and other collectables. Its online listings feature historical and decorative objects such as silver tea services, cocktail shakers, claret jugs, novelty pieces, watches, and works by recognised makers and designers. The gallery also presents latest acquisitions and sold items, and provides information about its accreditations, press coverage, projects, fairs and exhibitions. Many listed pieces are offered at price on application, making the gallery a destination for discovering specialist antiques and discussing exceptional objects with the dealer. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Antiques and Collectibles _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ - 💎 Luxury - 💎 Fine Art and Collectibles _(under Luxury)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/The-Old-Corkscrew-292442004121379) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id7UiJ6Hjo/w/800/h/110/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792800939180) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id7UiJ6Hjo/w/2048/h/2048/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792800940050) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Picton Blue | #54a9ea | accent | | Astronaut | #255372 | dark | | Goldenrod | #ffcb70 | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
