# The Open Book - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `theopenbook.nl` ## Description The Open Book is a literary blog for curious readers who want to explore books beyond the final page. Its guiding idea is that reading can shape how people think, affect how they feel, and subtly change how they see the world. Created by Elke, the blog shares reflections and insights for people who remain eager to discover the details and meanings within literature. The site covers both fiction and nonfiction, alongside book reviews, blog posts, and “Book Notes” that draw out literary life lessons. Readers can find close examinations of individual titles, discussions of authors and themes, and travel writing inspired by reading and experience. The Open Book also features information about lectures and book events, including talks on writers and works such as Paul Auster, Julian Barnes, and Virginia Woolf. Visitors are invited to browse, leave comments, follow the blog, and subscribe for email updates when new posts appear. ## Industries - 🍿 Arts and Entertainment - 🍿 Books and Literature _(under Arts and Entertainment)_ - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Literature _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [instagram](https://instagram.com/theopenbook_byelke) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idQqTuYZtU/w/1729/h/1562/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792815010885) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idQqTuYZtU/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792815011031) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Coconut Cream | #fafae1 | accent | | Cedar Wood Finish | #6f2700 | dark | | Goldenrod | #ffcb70 | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
