## Description

The Pattern Library is an ongoing creative project by Tim Holman and Claudio Guglieri, bringing together tileable patterns shared by designers for use in visual work. Its guiding idea, “patterns for the people, by the people,” reflects a community-focused collection that makes contributed designs freely available for others to use. Visitors can browse the library for patterns to incorporate into their own designs, while designers are invited to expand the collection by submitting their work. To contribute, creators can send a website URL, their Twitter name, and a tileable pattern to the project’s listed email address. The Pattern Library therefore serves both as a source of reusable design assets and as a platform for sharing creative work with a wider audience. The project credits its contributors and encourages participation, connecting designers who make patterns with people seeking visual inspiration or materials for their designs.
