## Description

Pembleton is a maker of distinctive kit cars based on the Citroën 2CV, supported by an enthusiast community that shares information, advice and activities through the Pembletons Are Go! website. Designed and marketed by Phil Gregory, the cars are available in three- or four-wheel configurations and are built around a space-frame chassis rather than the original 2CV chassis. Many mechanical and electrical components, including the gearbox, steering, brakes and suspension parts, come from a 2CV donor vehicle, while the front suspension geometry is modified to improve roadholding.

Each car is individually built, with hand-formed aluminium bodywork and scope for personalisation. Engines may come from a 2CV, while some builders choose BMW or Moto Guzzi engines. Buyers can build a car using a suitable donor and chassis kit, purchase a second-hand vehicle, or seek a turn-key car. The community website offers technical resources, construction pictures, owners’ car stories, newsletters and a forum where builders can find guidance and connect with other Pembleton enthusiasts.
