## Description

The Period Place is a charity focused on improving menstrual health and wellbeing from menarche to menopause. It works to make conversations about periods safer, more positive and free from stigma, while helping people access reliable education, emotional support and hygienic period products. Its approach combines awareness campaigns, services, workshops, community activities, walks and summits addressing menstrual health, intimate hygiene and overall wellbeing.

The charity’s programmes include Free Period Clinics, virtual workshops where participants can share experiences, ask questions and learn how to improve communication with their daughters. Its 1,000 Voices initiative encourages girls to challenge negative attitudes about periods and reduce anxiety through positive education. Puberty & My Body provides guided learning about puberty, periods and menstrual hygiene for young girls. Mothers & Daughters offers interactive, community-based workshops on feminine hygiene, health, emotional wellbeing and intimate care conversations. The Period Place also organises events such as Dad & Daughter Daycation and Walk 4 Her, and provides a free parent guide to puberty and period education.
