## Description

The Photo Gallery Paffrath, established in 2016 by Ariane Schneider-Paffrath and Claudia Gericke in Düsseldorf, is a prominent hub for contemporary art photography. Initially focused on showcasing the vibrant yet underrepresented Latin American painting scene, the gallery expanded its offerings in 2018 to include modern and contemporary photography, featuring significant photographers such as Jimmy Nelson, Horst P. Horst, and Bryan Adams. After Claudia Gericke's departure in 2021, the gallery was rebranded to emphasize its commitment to contemporary photography, where it continues to present works from renowned artists like Romina Ressia and Miles Aldridge.

Nestled in Düsseldorf, an art metropolis celebrated for its high density of world-class artists and institutions, The Photo Gallery Paffrath is uniquely positioned to connect audiences with innovative photographic art. The gallery serves as a vital platform for artists and collectors alike, contributing to the city's exciting and diverse cultural landscape.
