## Description

The Residence by Cenizaro is a collection of luxury hotels and resorts built around enriching guest experiences and heartfelt, personalised hospitality. Its properties aim to create relaxing environments that reflect their destinations, welcoming guests with a sense of belonging. The brand’s first hotel, The Residence Tunis, opened in 1996, followed by The Residence Mauritius in 1998. The collection later expanded to Zanzibar, the Maldives and Bintan.

In the Maldives, The Residence operates two island resorts, Falhumaafushi and Dhigurah, in a marine setting known for coral reefs, lagoons and abundant wildlife. Falhumaafushi offers 94 beach and water villas, while Dhigurah features 173 beachfront and overwater villas, each with a private pool deck. The connected islands also offer opportunities to enjoy the surrounding natural environment and ocean views.

The wider collection spans Tunisia, Mauritius, Zanzibar, the Maldives and Indonesia. Planned additions include a desert resort in Douz, a property in Tunis’s historic medina, a retreat on Djerba, and hotels in Mapur and Ubud.
