## Description

Google+ is a social networking platform launched by Google, and on April 2, 2019, the consumer version of Google+ was sunsetted. This meant that user accounts, created pages, and consumer content were shut down and deleted. However, Google continues to invest in Google+ for enterprise users who use it as part of G Suite. G Suite users, including businesses and educational institutions, will still have active accounts. For developers, all legacy Google+ APIs were also shut down, and the recommendation is to migrate to alternative APIs such as Google Sign-in and Google People API. In cases where developers are unable to do so, a new implementation of some Google+ APIs critical to sign-in functionality has been created. Google thanks all Google+ users for their contributions and promises to provide more enterprise-specific Google+ details in the future.
