## Description

The Sentry is San Diego’s annual PGA TOUR golf event, hosted at Torrey Pines by the Century Club of San Diego, a member-driven nonprofit organization. First played in 1952 as the San Diego Open, the tournament has been held at Torrey Pines since 1968. Its mission is to stage a world-class competition that benefits San Diego, particularly its youth.

The tournament offers multiple ways to take part, including individual grounds and military tickets, senior and youth admission, parking, and premium options such as the Pechanga Club and ULTRA Zone. Hospitality and VIP experiences provide settings for guests, clients, and partners to connect, while volunteer opportunities let community members contribute to tournament operations. The 2027 event is scheduled for January 27–30, with Opening Day and competition across Torrey Pines’ North and South Courses.

Through the Champions for Youth Program, The Sentry supports youth-serving San Diego nonprofits by helping build their capacity and extend their impact. The event also shares tournament news and offers updates on tickets, hospitality, volunteering, and other experiences.
