Welcome to the 3rd International Puppet Fringe Festival 2023, New York's premier puppetry event! Join us from August 9th to 13th for five days filled with exhibitions, workshops, panels, film screenings, and over 40 captivating puppet performances by groups from around the world. Organized by Teatro SEA, Grupo Morán (The Morán Group), and The Clemente Soto Velez Cultural & Education Center, this festival celebrates the rich traditions and incredible talent of puppeteers. The 2023 Puppet Fringe Festival's theme is Halloween in August, paying tribute to the legendary Ralph Lee, founder of the Village Halloween Parade, known for his visionary, surreal, life-sized puppets.
