The South Florida Institute on Aging (SoFIA) is a women-led nonprofit organization dedicated to providing equitable and high-quality services to the aging community and their families in South Florida. By bridging the gaps between seniors and their communities, SoFIA enriches the lives of older adults and those around them. Their services offer seniors opportunities to pass on their wisdom to future generations and receive technical training to navigate today's digital landscape.

SoFIA also supports caregivers caring for their loved ones, provides companionship to isolated individuals or those with disabilities, and offers assistance to veterans, military families, and community centers. Currently, SoFIA serves over 1500 people annually and engages over 500 older adult volunteers virtually and in person.
