## Description

The Spring is a brand that has been at the forefront of creating change and educating the community for over four decades. Founded by four trailblazing women, The Spring started when one of them opened a spare bedroom in her Tampa home as a safe haven for a friend escaping an abusive relationship. Word quickly spread, and more women came forward needing shelter. In 1984, their first shelter was built, and today, The Spring has become one of the largest domestic violence shelters in Florida with 128 beds in their emergency shelter. They offer a wide range of services, including temporary shelter, a 24/7 crisis and referral hotline, legal assistance, supportive services, and more. The Spring's mission is to prevent domestic violence, protect victims, and promote change in lives, families, and communities. They provide physically and emotionally safe spaces for healing, empower survivors to regain control of their circumstances, and advocate for their rights. Through programs such as housing stability and economic justice, The Spring aims to create immediate and long-term stability for survivors. Join The Spring in their mission to end domestic violence and support those affected by it.
