## Description

The Subversive Table is a brand that celebrates the fusion of Asian diaspora cuisine, specifically focusing on Korean food and its cultural heritage. Founded by Lis, a former school teacher turned recipe developer and digital content creator, The Subversive Table offers a range of delicious and accessible recipes that highlight her Korean American background. At The Subversive Table, you'll find a collection of treasured family recipes passed down for generations, as well as modern classics influenced by Lis' cultural heritage. Lis aims to create simple Korean recipes that anyone can cook at home, making Korean food accessible to all. She also adds her own Asian American twist to the dishes by incorporating fermented foods, intense aromatics like garlic and lemongrass, and a generous amount of spice. In addition, The Subversive Table offers not-too-sweet desserts that focus on texture and flavors such as bitter, sour, salty, and umami. These recipes showcase the fusion of Asian cuisine with a contemporary twist, making them both delicious and unique. Stay connected with The Subversive Table by following them on social media, where Lis shares informal how-tos, her latest food obsessions, weekly dinner menus, and behind-the-scenes content from the blog. Explore The Subversive Table and discover the joy of cooking and eating Korean-inspired dishes that celebrate Lis' cultural heritage and love for food.
