## Description

The Surfyard is a full-service surf school and shop located in St Ouen’s Bay, Jersey, at the centre of the island’s surf culture. Serving beginners through experienced surfers, it combines instruction, equipment hire and retail with beachside facilities. Its surf school offers private and group lessons, summer camps for ages 8–16, and advanced performance coaching, including one-to-one or group sessions, competition planning and video analysis. Instructors are ISA/SLSGB qualified, and lessons are open to all ability levels. The Surfyard also hires surf equipment, including Ocean & Earth foam boards in sizes from 6 to 10 feet, Indio hard boards for more experienced surfers, wetsuits, boogie boards and other gear. Changing facilities and showers are available. Its year-round surf shop stocks brands such as Patagonia, Billabong, Oakley, Vissla and Passenger, alongside surf accessories and seasonal clothing, including coats, knitwear and fleeces. The business also shares surf news and events, provides local weather and tide information, and directs visitors to the nearby El Tico beach cantina.
