# The Sussex Snowdrop Trust - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `thesussexsnowdroptrust.com` ## Description The Sussex Snowdrop Trust is a registered charity based in West Sussex, England, that provides essential support and assistance to families with sick children. Founded in 1993 by Kate Shaw, Diana Levantine, and Frank Snell, the organization aims to address the needs of families when their child leaves the hospital and returns home. The trust offers a range of services to cater to these needs, including providing information and support to parents regarding their child's illness. They also offer guidance on how to properly care for the child at home. Recognizing the financial strain that can arise from caring for a sick child, the trust provides financial assistance to families, as often one parent has to give up work. The Sussex Snowdrop Trust is supported by a dedicated team of trustees and patrons, including notable figures such as Rt Rev Dr Martin Warner and Dame Patricia Routledge. Their commitment to helping sick children and their families is evident in the range of services and support they provide. To further their cause, the trust welcomes donations and encourages individuals to get involved by organizing fundraising events.
