## Description

Theta Fleet, known as Simming's Seventh Fleet, was founded on December 10, 2009, as a welcoming space for text-based roleplaying enthusiasts. Originating from a desire for a more relaxed simming environment, Theta Fleet brings together a community focused on cooperative storytelling through various Role-Playing Games (RPGs). The fleet consists of three distinct Task Forces: Task Force 23, dedicated to canon Star Trek from the original series through movies up to Nemesis; Task Force 42, also canon but set in the 2390s; and Task Force 51, which explores alternate realities and later Star Trek iterations.

With a strong emphasis on character development, Theta Fleet promotes creative writing, community interaction, and the exploration of new worlds. The fleet prioritizes inclusive participation, encouraging players to create flawed, relatable characters instead of overpowered ones. Theta Fleet's commitment to storytelling and camaraderie fosters a vibrant community, making it a beloved destination for simmers dedicated to the Star Trek universe.
