## Description

The Sir Peter O'Sullevan Charitable Trust, dedicated to the legacy of racing's beloved commentator, has made a significant impact in the equine welfare sector over its 26 years of operation. Having distributed over £5 million among six key charities—including Blue Cross, World Horse Welfare, and Racing Welfare—the Trust is committed to enhancing the lives of horses and supporting their aftercare. Additionally, the Trust has pledged over £10 million to other equine-related causes, reflecting its strong commitment to the horse community.

The Trust also engages supporters through its fundraising initiatives, offering products like personalized Christmas cards, books, and exclusive prints. Notably, the 2024 Christmas cards feature stunning artwork by Garry Pereira. Annual gatherings, such as the award presentations at the Dorchester, celebrate the contributions of individuals in racing and further the mission of supporting equine welfare. Through these endeavors, the Trust not only keeps racing traditions alive but also ensures a brighter future for retired racehorses.
