## Description

The Whiskey Companion is a dedicated platform for whiskey collectors, described as Ireland’s only service of its kind. Available on iOS, Android, and the web, it brings auction research, collection management, retail discovery, and community features together in one place. Members can search prices from more than 20 auction houses, review a bottle’s auction history, follow upcoming and live sales, and find sought-after bottles listed at auction. They can also build a digital vault, record purchase details, track and rate whiskey, maintain tasting notes and wishlists, and check the market value of their collection. A retail search helps users compare shops, availability, and prices, including miniatures. The platform also offers whiskey and distillery information, industry news, events, and community groups. A free account includes core database access, limited collection and journal entries, and six months of auction history. The paid Companion plan adds full historical data, unlimited tracking tools, live portfolio valuations, retail inventory, price alerts, barcode and label scanning, data export, and priority support, for €4.99 monthly or €39.99 annually.
