## Description

The Wicked Fly is a fly-fishing website for anglers who enjoy adventurous outings and practical, independent advice. With an enthusiastic, irreverent voice, it shares stories from rivers across the United States, including steelhead fishing on Michigan’s Pere Marquette River and trips to Utah’s Lower Provo River. Its articles cover fishing in winter and other challenging conditions, understanding how the environment affects fish, and deciding whether to tie or buy flies. The site also offers product reviews and guidance on fly-fishing gear, including rods, reels, line, wading boots, and fleece wader liners. Its recommendations include personal assessments of products such as Redington liners and Adamsbuilt wading boots. For anglers planning a trip, The Wicked Fly provides regional fishing resources and links to shops in several states, along with state DNR sites and hatch charts for locations including Michigan, New York, and Esopus Creek. The website combines fishing experiences, equipment information, and planning resources to help readers make the most of time on the water.
