## Description

The Wine Depository is an Australian wine business founded in 2011 by Phil Smith, known as The Wine Guy. It helps customers discover, enjoy, and build a wine collection through a broad selection of wines from around the world. The online shop offers red, white, rosé, sparkling, and fortified wines, along with specials, gift cards, and a service for requesting hard-to-find bottles. Phil draws on more than 20 years of experience to recommend or assemble selections to suit customers’ preferences, budgets, and buying needs. The business also provides cellaring solutions for people who need help storing wine or managing their collection. For those who want to learn and taste, The Wine Depository hosts public tastings, dinners, and masterclasses, as well as tailored private and corporate events at a venue chosen by the customer. Its approach is designed to make wine welcoming, enjoyable, and informative rather than intimidating. Customers can also sign up for email updates featuring offers and cellar discoveries, and purchase vouchers as gifts.
