The World Needs A Father (TWNAF) is a brand that is committed to addressing the issue of fatherlessness and promoting healthy families worldwide. Founded in 2002 at the Nyarugusu refugee camp in Tanzania, TWNAF was driven by the realization that there was a deeper catalyst behind the brokenness that plagued communities, such as rape and dismemberment.

TWNAF operates as a decentralized movement, with each country taking ownership and leadership in building the movement within their own communities. 

Research shows that positively involved fathers have a positive impact on mental and emotional health, social engagement, productivity, and even physical health. TWNAF's global model of training, mentorship, and community collaboration has proven successful in transforming countries worldwide. 

Despite the global COVID-19 lockdown, TWNAF has expanded to 100 countries, offering initiatives like Waymakers and The Lazarus Quest, while also translating its resources into multiple languages. With a focus on healing the world through transformed communities and strong, healthy families, TWNAF is dedicated to making a lasting impact.
