## Description

The Wysch Foundation is a family-led organisation dedicated to making the arts accessible to people who might otherwise be excluded by financial barriers. Established by Nick, Charlotte, Lizzie, Andrew and Brenda Wyschna, the foundation is run by volunteers and focuses on creating opportunities to enjoy, learn about and pursue the arts.

Its support includes funding family days out, such as theatre visits, when cost is the main obstacle. The foundation also offers bursaries to young people seeking arts training who do not have financial support from their families. In communities facing hardship, it provides free theatrical workshops for young people, bringing creative activities directly to them.

People who lack the funds to take part in arts activities or training can contact the foundation to enquire about assistance. Support depends on available funds, and applicants with family financial support or savings to cover the costs are not eligible. The foundation also welcomes fundraising ideas and offers opportunities for others to help advance its mission.
