## Description

Thin Skin is an independent literary publication showcasing writing by older authors. It presents creative work that explores the complexities of human experience, offering readers writing that can soothe, provoke, enchant, unsettle, and uplift. The publication features poetry, flash fiction, and short stories, with new formats and contributors introduced across its issues. Issue 8, for example, brings together established contributors and a newcomer, with poems and stories addressing subjects ranging from love, memory, and family grief to everyday life and human vulnerability.

Thin Skin publishes an online archive of its past issues, currently listed from Issue 1 through Issue 7, alongside its latest issue. It invites writers to submit work, provides feedback services, and shares guidance on reasons submissions may not be accepted. Readers can subscribe to a newsletter to hear about new issues. Thin Skin says it receives no funding and relies on donations to continue its work, and it encourages supporters to contribute to keeping the publication available.
