## Description

Legislate is a UK-based legal technology company offering plain-English legal guides, contract resources and tools for managing business and property agreements. Its free content helps readers understand contracts, housing and tenancy issues, business setup, and legal and commercial terms. Guides cover agreement types, important clauses and electronic signatures, while questions and glossary entries provide concise explanations and examples. The library currently focuses on the UK, with country-specific resources planned as it expands.

Legislate also provides contract templates, including assured shorthold tenancy agreements, lodger licences, lettings agent terms, employment agreements, consultancy contracts, internship agreements and non-disclosure agreements. The company says its templates are written in plain English, reviewed by legal professionals and designed to be adaptable through a question-based process. Additional resources include landlord updates, contract guides and white papers.

For organisations, Legislate offers contract and legal operations features such as document storage, data extraction, automation, analytics, integrations, clause libraries, supplier risk resources and renewal tracking. Plans include a seven-day free trial, with demos available.
