## Description

This is True, created by Randy Cassingham in 1994, is the oldest entertainment email publication on the Internet, and it continues to publish every week. Randy started his journey with a bulletin board series at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 1987. As the internet gained popularity, Randy came up with a plan to move news clips online through email in 1994. True finally got its own website in 1995, and it gained recognition when The New York Times wrote about Randy's unique business model. Over the years, True expanded its distribution to 100 countries and introduced a premium edition with more stories. True's success caught the attention of prominent figures like Steve Wozniak, who endorsed the newsletter. Randy's ability to offer weird news commentary bypassing traditional gatekeepers captivated the media and earned him features in various renowned publications worldwide. Today, True continues to entertain and provoke thought with its collection of strange-but-true stories from legitimate news outlets, accompanied by humorous and opinionated comments.
