## Description

This Mom Bikes is a personal cycling blog focused on family life on two wheels. Written from a parent’s perspective, it helps families explore practical ways to include biking in everyday routines and travel, especially with babies, toddlers, and older children. The site offers guidance on carrying kids by bike, with explanations of cargo-bike styles such as bakfiets, longtails, trikes, and trailers, alongside equipment reviews and advice on choosing and affording a cargo bike. Parents can also find information about biking with infants, keeping children comfortable in winter, selecting children’s bikes by age and size, and helping young riders learn to cycle. For families planning longer outings, the blog shares packing guidance and trip ideas for bikepacking, touring, and family rides in places including the Canadian Rockies, British Columbia, Scotland, and the Netherlands. It also covers winter cycling, bike maintenance, safe locking, and active transportation, including biking to school and encouraging changes in local communities.
