## Description

Thomas Kalmar Pipes is a small artisan brand based in Germany’s Bavarian Forest, founded by Hungarian-born pipe maker Thomas Kalmar. A longtime pipe enthusiast, Kalmar began making tobacco pipes by hand in 2022 after years of restoring old pipes and developing his craft as a self-taught maker. Each pipe is a one-of-a-kind creation shaped by the character of its materials and the maker’s artistic approach.

The collection includes classic and freeform designs, such as Apples, Dublin pipes, Bulldogs, Rhodesians, Billiards, and Churchwardens. Pipes are crafted primarily from Italian or Greek briar, with some designs made from materials such as morta bog oak, olive wood, or strawberry tree wood. Decorative details may feature domestic and exotic woods, horn, antler, brass, or sterling silver, while mouthpieces are made from ebonite or acrylic. Many models are designed for 9 mm filters.

Customers can browse available, reserved, and reduced pipes online, explore the maker’s work, and contact him to request a link to the complete collection.
