## Description

THOMIS is a personal website sharing stories, memories, and information about Gimmelwald and the people connected to it. Visitors can explore the family’s roots through an extensive family tree containing more than 1,500 names, browse photo galleries, and discover films and other archival material. The site also includes reflections on everyday life, humorous and thoughtful content, links, and a collection of notable finds. Its Silvernomads blog features posts and provides another way for the site’s creators to stay in touch with readers. Recent updates have added a new memories page and expanded the photo gallery and film listings in the friends’ area. THOMIS also refers to a chalet visitors can rent in Gimmelwald, while offering a personal look at the family’s connections to the area. Some materials are protected; visitors can request access by email. The website is available in German and English and presents its content as a welcoming blend of local interest, family history, travel, and personal storytelling.
