## Description

Thorne Ambulance Service is a family-owned and operated emergency medical services provider established in 2010. Serving communities across South Carolina, the organization describes its work as a calling and is guided by a commitment to compassionate, professional patient care. Its mission emphasizes providing the best care possible day or night, continually improving as care providers, and treating every patient with empathy and respect.

Thorne offers Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), including 911 ambulance services in Cherokee and Bamberg counties and inter-facility transport. Additional services include wheelchair transportation and event standby and first aid. The company says its teams arrive in professional attire and use high-quality ambulances, equipment, and technology to support care in the field.

Thorne operates across the Upstate, Greenwood, Grand Strand, Cherokee County, and Bamberg County, with operations in Greenville and Myrtle Beach. The organization also provides online bill payment, employment opportunities, and staff education. For emergencies, it directs the public to call 911 rather than submit a request online.
