## Description

Threshold is an Irish registered charity dedicated to preventing homelessness by helping renters resolve housing and tenancy problems. Guided by the belief that everyone has a right to a home, the organisation provides free, confidential advice and support to people experiencing difficulties with their tenancies or at risk of losing their homes. Its advice and tenancy protection services aim to address problems early, helping individuals and families remain in their homes and avoid homelessness.

Alongside direct support, Threshold advocates for changes to housing policy and legislation to improve fairness for renters. The organisation shares housing information through publications, news and stories, and campaigns for reforms it considers necessary to protect tenants. People can contact its advice service by freephone in Ireland or through an international helpline.

Threshold also invites individuals and organisations to support its work through donations, fundraising, corporate partnerships and legacy giving. Contributions help the charity respond to people seeking assistance and sustain its homelessness prevention efforts.
