## Description

Threshold Network is a brand that specializes in empowering user sovereignty on the public blockchain. They offer a range of threshold cryptography services that allow users to have greater control over their digital assets without relying on a centralized authority. Threshold is unique because it is the first-ever on-chain merge between two existing networks and communities, namely Keep and NuCypher. Keep is known for its privacy-focused infrastructure and tBTC, the only truly decentralized solution for Bitcoin on Ethereum. NuCypher, on the other hand, brings privacy to the public blockchain through its proxy re-encryption and condition-based decryption network. By combining the strengths of Keep and NuCypher, Threshold Network provides users with enhanced security, privacy, and access controls for distributed apps and protocols. Legacy KEEP stakers will need to set up a PRE node to participate in Threshold, and there is a list of staking providers available for users to choose from. In summary, Threshold Network is at the forefront of threshold cryptography, offering innovative solutions that prioritize user sovereignty and privacy on the blockchain.
